MATTHEW

Matthew George Pitner is a male Human Actor 4 / Improviser 5 / Director 2. His Alignment is Chaotic Evil.  He is currently living and working in Los Angeles California. Along with auditioning for film and television, Matthew is Artistic Director of Bearded Men Improv, a nationally recognized and touring improv troupe that focuses on genre-based story telling that has been featured in over 25 National Improv Festivals all over the U.S. and Canada. You can find Matthew performing in Hollywood every Saturday night with the Bearded Men as they present one of their many epic genre improv shows. Along with producing his own shows Matthew is taking classes and performing at iO West, The Upright Citizen Brigade, and the Impro Theatre. 

 

A lifelong fan of fantasy, Matthew grew up movies, books, and video games such as: Labyrinth, Beast Master, Conan, Legend, Lord of the Rings, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Ultima, If there was swords and magic involved it was on Matthew’s to-do list. His first experience with Dungeons & Dragons was back in college with Timothy Meyer as his DM. This experience inspired Matthew to create with his troupe a highly success Live Action Improvised Dungeons & Dragons show that has been running for the past 5 years.
